Friday, September 11, 2015
All Day – U.S. Postal Service’s 100th Anniversary of the Nicholson Bridge Stamp Cancellation, U.S. Post Office, Main Street (still tentative)
5:00 p.m. – Nicholson Mayor Ann Marie Aylesworth will lay a wreath at the gravesites of engineers Philip Reece and John Waltz in the Nicholson Cemetery. They worked on piers 5 & 6 and chose to stay in Nicholson after they completed their work. Mr. Waltz died in 1919 and Mr. Reece died in 1930.
6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. – Vintage Photograph Exhibit, St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church Hall, corner of Main & High Streets
6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. – The Endless Mountains Model Railroad Club will be displaying its modular layouts in both HO and O scale inside the Farmer Supply, at the corner of Main and State Streets.
7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. – Jeffrey James Band, Main Street Main Stage
